This is a very interesting book with little spin. There are points where the author and I disagree but many more that we are in ful agreement. He takes on the Race card very well and brings historical facts to bear on the issues. It is good to see a work that does not fall into the rehlm of revisionist history. I read this during Black history month and though many times during the reading how wonderful and refreshing some of these stories would have been to see protrayed during the TV tributes. This is a difficult read in that I dont think mine downloaded correctly but a great read for anyone hoping our country survives it current troubles.Product details

I found it so interesting that I could not put the book down. Like many other Americans, I am extremely frustrated with the management of our government. Finally, somebody has the guts to tell it like it is. Thanks to R. Keith Martin I have been enlightened and feel empowered to stand up for what is right. I highly recommend this book, very well written and unique. I will be buying more for gifts.
If you're a far right conservative and you just want your world view reinforced, this book will be for you. If you're a democrat and you want to point to a conservative book comparing Obama to Hitler with predictions of a race war and people fighting over food and fuel then this is also the book for you. One chapter is entitled "Why Obama Must Murder You." Several times he talks about teacher's salaries being 10 times what they were in the 1950s, when he believes our educational system was just the best--while ignoring the fact that The average income for the middle class citizen in 1950 was $2,992 annually. This would be approximately $29,000 today. The cost of gas in the 1950s was $0.27 a gallon.Average teacher salary in 1950-51 was $4,000; today's starting teacher salary is $39,000. When you take inflation into account, today's teachers are actually MAKING LESS. Throughout the book, this author does this kind of thing--stating a "fact" without actually looking at any context. Also, the word "idiot" shows up many, many times throughout the book. To be clear, this is the author calling other people idiots.
Fast shipping. Book in good condition as described. I applaud Mr. Martin for telling it like it is. Definetly a book to be read by similar beliefs. I have recommended to my friends to purchase.
Since posting my original recommendation above, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Martin and his wife. No need to disclose when or where; however, for those of you who have not read his book NEED to. Even though Obama has been re-elected and just when we thought things couldn't get worse.... you haven't seen bad yet, but it's coming.
Mr. Ron Martin hits the nail on the head with this book. I am sorry to say that I agree with his synopsis of our nations situation and also have come to the conclusion that the only way to correct course is through another bloody revolution. The post WW2 generation, in a feeble attempt to secure their children from the horrors of war and depression, really destroyed the essence of our great nation staring with the New Deal to the Great Society creating the perfect springboard for the Communists and Socialists from both parties that run our nation. Think about how many of our political people have been in office for years and decades, they did not come to serve then leave. They came to serve themselves and their friends & Family. Both parties are guilty. The only solution? Thomas Jefferson expressed it perfectly The tree of Liberty needs to be fed occasionally by the blood of tyrants and patriots (not the precise quote but you get the idea). God Bless The American Republic!!!
